Dates and duration: Annual, November
Launched in 2000 and currently sponsored by Nikon Singapore, the National Photographic Exhibition displays up to 4,000 entries submitted by over 800 photographers across the country. Two gold, four silver and six bronze prizes of 15 million VNĐ (cUS$950), 10 million VNĐ (cUS$650) and 5 million VNĐ (cUS$320) respectively, plus specified Nikon products, are awarded to the best pictures in the exhibition, whilst certificates of honour are given to 20 other photographers. Winning entries are placed on display in a special exhibition. The awards ceremony and exhibition are held in a different location each year.
