 Established in 1965, the Việt Nam Photographic Artists’ Association is a national association which functions to promote photographic creativity theory, criticism and training and to look after the welfare of its 518 members nationwide. It organises the annual National Art Photography Competition, runs numerous short training programmes and also publishes the monthly Nhiếp ảnh và Thế giới Ảnh (Photography and Photography World) Magazine.
