Organised by the Việt Nam Journalists' Association, this competitive annual award invites journalists from all over the country to submit their news stories for consideration. The 2003 competition attracted 371 entries from 368 journalists, of which 43 were shortlisted for the competition's 'A', 'B' and 'C' prize groups.
