The history of Scotland’s man-made environment, from world-famous archaeological sites - from the Jarlshof and Skara Brae settlements and the Calanais and Ring of Brodgar stone circles all the way to the new Scottish Parliament - has rarely been less than eventful.
A detailed overview of the Scottish heritage sector - covering themes and trends in Scottish architecture and built heritage and an overview of the past development and current role, policies and practice of the Scottish museums sector - will follow as soon as possible - contributions are invited from practitioners working in this sector, please contact Tim Doling at [email protected]
