This Việt Nam Cultural Profile is an updated and substantially expanded online version of the Việt Nam Arts Directory, which was published in book form by Visiting Arts in 2002. It is updated on a monthly basis.

The Việt Nam Cultural Profile was put together through the goodwill and co-operation of many different individuals and organisations in co-operation with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) of Việt Nam, in association with the British Council and with financial support from the Rockefeller Foundation.

Limited space does not permit the inclusion of a comprehensive list, but whilst expressing gratitude to everyone involved - in whatever capacity - in the development of the project, the editors would like to single out the following contributors for special thanks.
