Existing training courses in the management and administrative aspects of book publishing and distribution include the undergraduate programme in Book Publishing offered by Hà Nội University of Culture, the college diploma programme in Book Distribution and Publishing Industry Studies offered by Hồ Chí Minh City College of Culture and the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Publishing offered by the Faculty of Publishing, Sub Institute of Press and Propaganda, Hồ Chí Minh National Institute of Political Studies.

Technical courses in Plate Making, Colour Printing, Offset and Finishing are offered at secondary level by the Hà Nội Secondary School of Printing Technology and the Hồ Chí Minh City School of Professional Printing and at undergraduate level by the Faculty of Chemical Technology, Hà Nội University of Technology and at the Faculty of Printing, Hồ Chí Minh City University of Technical Education.
